If you play this hand in cavalier style and draw trumps and then turn your attention to Clubs you will get an awful disappointment because the Clubs break badly and you will lose a club and go one off.
However, if you count your tricks very carefully the total comes to 10 by way of 5 Spades, 1 Heart 1 Diamond and 3 Clubs. To generate the extra three tricks let us turn to Hearts and ruff this suit out. In order to do this you will have to keep three trumps on the table.
With this in mind, after winning the first trick, immediately ruff a Heart. Come back to hand with a trump noticing the 3:0 trump break. Now ruff another Heart. Ruff a Diamond to get back to hand in order to ruff yet another Heart. Now and only now can you draw trumps. Enter hand via the Club Ace or another Diamond ruff and draw the last trick and claim.
