At trick two you now know that West must be leading from either singleton 10 or doubleton 10 and you will need to finesse East for missing Diamond Jack.

With this in mind, play dummy’s King taken by East’s Ace who fires the suit back. You finesse your 7 pleased to see West following suit with the 6.

You can now trump a Spade before coming back to hand with a trump to trump yet another spade. Now it’s a matter of drawing trumps before setting up clubs.

 You will not take the club finesse since East has already turned up with two Aces, Surely West must have the Club King for his original overcall of 1ª

Although the Diamonds broke badly the clubs broke well (3-3) and now the 13^th club becomes high should you have needed it..
