If you play out a suit and an honour or even
and 8 or 9 appears then the adjacent card is twice as likely to be
in the other hand according to The Theory of Restricted choice
so with
A K 5

Play off the
AK and when the 10 appears no longer play for the suit to be hopefully
33 but now play East for missing Jack and finesse as you have seen the
10 appear- now the Jack is twice as likely to be with East.
