Once the trumps break badly then you must dislodge the Club Ace before drawing all the trumps. If you draw all the trumps and then dislodge the Club Ace you will have no trumps left in either hand to ruff any third round diamond continuation. You can cope with losing 2 Diamonds and a Club. You cannot afford to lose A Club and “loads of Diamonds” can you ?
