This hand comes from the EBU Summer Congress held annually in Brighton . After the bidding ,partner’s support of Hearts suggests he has 4 card support so it would be lazy to play another Heart and lose the tempo. Knowing that declarer is going to ruff the second Heart and set dummy’s Clubs up it is vital to build tricks and to take the initiative. At trick  two you must therefore switch to Spades. Declarer wins and a vital entry has been taken out of his hand. He no longer has the tempo to win 4 Club tricks  and the contract will duly fail, Any other defence and declarer will be able to draw trumps and finesse the Clubs twice, losing just one Heart and 1 Club. His Spade losers will go on the long Club present in dummy.
