If you simply adhere to rules learnt you will probably lead the Heart
Queen as it’s a solid top of sequence lead but that would be fatal here.
Counting your tricks in defense you need to find only 2 tricks. Your Club
holding looks promising for one trick so your other trick needs to be built
immediately. Therefore you have to lead you King of Spades to build a trick in
this suit while you have semi control of the trumps. With a Heart lead declarer
has the tempo to make 1 Spade, 1 Heart 5 Diamonds and 5 Clubs, contract made.
With a Spade lead you will realize 1 Spade and 1 Club.
